John “Dana” Slater focuses his practice primarily on insurance defense work, including personal injury, premises liability, and construction litigation. He has experience defending claims in state, federal, and administrative courts throughout Tennessee, and has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases.  A native to Nashville, Dana graduated from Belmont University with a B.A. in Business Administration before attending Nashville School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree in 2014.  Dana was admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee in 2014 and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Dana enjoys golf, playing guitar, and spending time with his spouse Chelsea and twin daughters.
